The only source of this hand carved ametrine is in Boliva. Legend has it that a Spanish conquistador discovered the mine's location in the 1600's and introduced the gem to Europeans and his queen. The mine was lost for 300 years and rediscovered in the late 1960's. #michaelscreativejewelrythe
