Drewett Works // Architecture
Designing bespoke desert residences, where every detail articulates purpose
A standard recessed garage light casts a perfect circle of interruption on a car's finish, a detail architect C.P. Drewett observed immediately. This meticulous attention to the inherent character of a space defines Drewett Works, a Scottsdale-based firm specializing in bespoke residential architecture across Arizona and Mexico. Since C.P. Drewett's arrival in Phoenix in 1993, his practice has evolved a distinct desert modernism, transforming properties from Paradise Valley to North Phoenix. His philosophy asserts that the spaces we inhabit are expressions of who we are, where every technical decision carries philosophical weight. This is evident in projects like the 8,313-square-foot Hummingbird Modern, designed to embrace its hillside setting and distant McDowell Mountain views, and the striking Moody Modern, both in Paradise Valley. The firm consistently crafts environments where material choices, from sandblasted elm to rammed earth, articulate the homeowner's individual expression, ensuring each residence possesses a singular narrative within its desert landscape.
