Derubeis Fine Art of Metal
Scottsdale's distinct gallery, where metal transforms into art through master craftsmanship
Located at 7171 East Main Street in Scottsdale, DeRubeis Fine Art of Metal presents a curated collection where the inherent properties of metal are explored through artistic vision. The gallery distinguishes itself by showcasing works that transcend traditional mediums, focusing on the transformative capabilities of metal. Chris DeRubeis, for instance, employs a distinctive technique he terms 'Abstract Sensualism' on treated metal surfaces, creating pieces that invite tactile engagement and evoke a particular emotion. Elsewhere in the gallery, Nano Lopez’s bronze sculptures capture a magical transformation from clay, presenting figures rich with narrative. Dale Mathis constructs kinetic sculptures from pistons and gears, infusing his works with motion and meaning. The collection reflects a commitment to works that challenge perception, offering patrons in Scottsdale an opportunity to encounter art where material and imagination merge into tangible forms, each piece telling a distinct story of its creation.
